In 2008, PEDC initiated a community-wide discussion on the need for improving marine services, specifically looking at interest in development of a vessel haul out and boat work yard. To date, the City Council has approved PEDC’s conceptual plan, and we are working to continue with the design process.

The PEDC held five public meetings regarding the Scow Bay Development project. The most meetings were held in conjunction with representatives of the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Harbor Advisory Board to approve the Scow Bay Development Plan.
